ICONIC brings an innovative liquid cooling solution to Brazil for the first time and contributes to the thermal modernization of AI data centers in Brazil.

ICONIC announces its entry into the Data Center market, with liquid cooling solutions for data centers, expanding its operations into a field that has become central to the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence in the country.

The decision comes at a time of intense pressure on Brazil's digital infrastructure: estimates indicate that the first four national AI data center complexes could reach an annual energy consumption equivalent to that of 16.4 million homes, while AI applications can demand up to three times more energy per operation than conventional systems.

Technical studies evaluated by ICONIC show that the capacity of traditional air cooling systems is close to its operational limit in the face of new computational densities. Comparisons between architectures show that air-based data centers record an annual consumption of 3,504,000 MWh, while structures designed for Immersion Cooling reduce this volume by half, reaching 1,752,000 MWh. Similarly, greenhouse gas emissions fall from 174,518 tCOe/year to 87,259 tCOper year, also 50% lower.

The international energy efficiency metric, PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness), confirms the difference between the models: while conventional systems operate at around 1.50 PUE, immersion cooling tends to reach 1.03 PUE, close to the maximum technical efficiency limit.

To operate in this field, ICONIC has structured a set of technological partnerships. In Immersion Cooling, it works with HF Sinclair/Innovate, responsible for fluids suitable for high thermal density environments. In Direct-to-Chip, the collaboration with Arteco/Zitrec® allows for applications based on cold plates and partial or progressive retrofits. Park Place Technologies completes the ecosystem with infrastructure services, which include structural adaptation, tank installation, device adaptation, and operational support.

According to Marcelo Guimarães, executive manager of ICONIC BaseOil Solutions, entering this market represents an important step in the technological evolution of Brazilian digital infrastructure: "We are at a turning point. AI has raised thermal demand to a level that air can no longer keep up with. By leading the entry of these liquid cooling solutions into the country, we are contributing to the efficiency and operational stability of data centers and, above all, to reducing the environmental impact of these operations, which will grow rapidly in the coming years," he analyzes.

ICONIC's entry into this market aims to contribute to the technological transition necessary for the country in the face of advances in AI and the significant increase in thermal loads in data centers. By offering solutions that reduce energy consumption, emissions, and operational risks, the company is joining a broad movement to modernize Brazil's digital infrastructure, which is becoming increasingly relevant for economic competitiveness and national environmental commitments.
